The 14th International Conference on Management Cases (ICMC) 2025 has commenced at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) with an inspiring research-driven atmosphere!
This global platform once again reasserts its role in nurturing high-impact teaching and research cases—sparking meaningful dialogue between academia and industry and shaping fresh perspectives on contemporary managerial challenges.
The inaugural session was graced by Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, as the Chief Guest. His insightful address highlighted the continued relevance of case pedagogy in developing reflective and practice-oriented management professionals.
ICMC 2025 featured two powerful keynote sessions:
Ms. Violetta Gallagher, Product & Publishing Director, Ivey Publishing, who shared global benchmarks for high-quality case development and pathways for authors to enhance their scholarly contributions.
Mr. Rahul Kumar Sharma, Senior Managing Editor, Sage, spoke on the evolving landscape of case publishing, editorial expectations, and emerging opportunities for practice-based management research.
Their perspectives helped participants connect international publishing standards with classroom realities and organizational contexts.
This year, the conference brings together 200+ case authors and practitioners from India, Japan, the USA, Thailand, Lithuania, Finland, the UAE, and more.
Over the next two days (starting 26th November 2025), more than 70 teaching and research cases will be presented across 14 thematic tracks covering strategic innovation, sustainability, leadership, human dynamics, and transformational change.
As always, ICMC 2025 celebrated excellence by conferring nine prestigious case awards, sponsored by Ivey Publishing, Sage, and The Case Centre, honoring creativity, rigor, contextual depth, and real-world impact.
